Cannot Add ONTAP Mediator after install Mediator 1.12

Issue

  • After installing Mediator 1.12, add mediator in ONTAP failure with following error:
Error: command failed: The request to reach the mediator failed during the add operation. Check if the mediator is reachable and then try the operation again.
  • systemctl status ontap_mediator in mediator server shows the service is running normally.
  • The mediator server is reachable via ping.
  • No network or firewall issues detected.
