Snapshot deletion fails during SnapMirror transfer

Issue

  • When attempting to delete a snapshot during an ongoing SnapMirror transfer, the following error is returned:　
    Error: command failed: This Snapshot copy is currently used as a reference Snapshot copy by one or more SnapMirror relationships. Deleting the Snapshot copy can cause future SnapMirror operations to fail.
  • This issue was observed after a system replacement, where previously the snapshot deletion succeeded under the same scripted workflow.
  • The failure occurs consistently when the snapshot delete operation is triggered while SnapMirror transfer is active.
