How to define SnapMirror baseline Snapshot
Applies to

Description
- A SnapMirror "baseline snapshot" denotes the first snapshot created when a snapmirror relationship is initialized.
- Two updates subsequent to initialization, the original baseline snapshot rolls off and is replaced by a new snapmirror snapshot.
- The original baseline snapshot created during initialize does not persist throughout the lifetime of a SnapMirror relationship, and is replaced by a new SnapMirror snapshot capturing the delta changes since the baseline snapshot.
- The new snapmirror snapshot is replicated to the destination, and the source snapshot and destination snapshot are known as in-common snapshots.
