  • An attempt to delete a snapshot fails after a snapmirror initialize failure

::> snapshot delete -vserver vs1 -volume vol_src -snapshot snapshot_name

Error: command failed: This Snapshot copy is currently used as a reference Snapshot copy by one or
       more SnapMirror relationships. Deleting the Snapshot copy can cause future SnapMirror
       operations to fail.

  • Snapshots on constituent volumes are tied to snapmirror even though one doesn't exist anymore
  • FlexGroup Constituent volumes are reporting snapshot spill, consuming space where snapreserve is set to zero and snapshot policy is disabled.
