  • NDMP can be configured as vserver- or node-scope
  • Vserver-scope is the default in ONTAP
  • Node-scope can be enabled to support applications that do not support NDMP Cluster Aware Backup (CAB)
  • This article describes the procedure on how to enable NDMP debug logging when node-scope mode is enabled

WARNING

Node-scope NDMP is deprecated and may be removed in a future version of ONTAP. Please consider configuring SVM-scope NDMP instead.
