CONTAP-442977: ONTAP System Manager: Cannot Connect to Active IQ

Issue

ONTAP System Manager to Active IQ (AIQ) link fails approximately one hour after successful registration. As a result, the Capacity section on the dashboard reports "Unable to reach https://activeiq.netapp.com to view capacity history. Verify your network." and the AIQ card on the Cluster settings page shows "Cannot Connect to Active IQ". 
If you encounter this issue, please follow the steps below to re-establish the connection between System Manager and Active IQ:

  1. Go to the Cluster -> Settings in the System Manager.
  2. Click on the Settings (gear) icon next to the Active IQ Registration card.
  3. Re-register to link System Manager with Active IQ.
