CXCP-1074: XCP scan fails to show number of files written by user on CIFS share

Issue

  • User has specified quota of 15Gb under a qtree provided, but user is not able to write any data and it shows full.
  • Below command is run to fetch the details of data written by user but the output shows only 5MB of data.

xcp scan \\vs1\share1$ -ownership -l -exclude "owner != 'user1.ext'"
  • The command below, which displays full ownership, does not display fully in the command prompt because of the size of the output.

xcp scan \\vs1\c$\vol\share1 -l -ownership
  • The command, which exports to Notepad, is failing with an error.

xcp scan \\vs1\c$\vol\share1 -l -ownership >C:/NetApp/output_new.txt
long_fmt(acl-true) error.
