Additional Information

WARNING

Note: Post HUK installation, Host reboot is required to ensure that the HBA parameters are set accordingly.

  • To complete the installation, you must configure the host parameters for your environment (Oracle Solaris I/O Multipathing or MPxIO in this case) by using the host_config command.
  • The host_config command has the following format:
/opt/NTAP/SANToolkit/bin/host_config ←setup> ←protocol fcp|iscsi|mixed> ←multipath mpxio|dmp| non> [-noalua] [-mcc 60|90|120]

  • With regards to host_config setup command for FC protocol, /opt/NTAP/SANToolkit/bin/host_config -setup -protocol fcp -multipath mpxio is the command that needs to be run on the host .
  • Other than that no other specific parameters are required.
