Issue

  • Unable to add disks to Oracle ASM on a new NetApp AFF-A90.
  • All NetApp-presented disks appeared with the same WWN, while Dell-presented disks had unique WWNs. 
  • Oracle ASM requires a unique identifier for each disk, and the identical WWNs on the NetApp LUNs preventing from being recognized as distinct devices.
