SRAM dumps causing intermittent disconnections on ESXi host

Issue

  • Frequent SRAM dumps on multiple ports causing disconnects on Esxi host.
  • EMS logs show:

  • Replacing cable and SFP on ONTAP ports does not fix the issue.
  • The SFPs are of optimal power on switch and ONTAP:
RXPower:    -0.8    dBm (827.5uW)
TXPower:    -0.1    dBm (983.4 uW)
  • Errdump logs on switch show timeouts:
