SAN services down after reboot of up node that had taken over partner for extended time
Applies to
- ONTAP 9.0
- ONTAP 9.1 up to ONTAP 9.1P3
- 2-node SAN Cluster when one node is in a taken-over state and the surviving HA partner node goes through a reboot
Issue
- Cluster running ONTAP 9.0 or 9.1 with one node in takeover state for an extended period
- SAN Logical Interfaces (LIFs) will fail to come up after the reboot on the surviving node
