Issue

  • VMware vmkernel log reports APD (All Paths Down) errors no hardware issue, no volume capacity issues or offline LUNVMware Support are unable to determine the root cause
Example:

StorageApdHandlerEv: 110: Device or filesystem with identifier [naa.600axyz] has entered the All Paths Down state.
StorageApdHandlerEv: 126: Device or filesystem with identifier [naa.600axyz] has entered the All Paths Down Timeout state after being in the All Paths Down state for 140 seconds.
