ONTAP FCP port down after troubleshooting

Issue

  • After troubleshooting actions and parts replacements ONTAP target FC port will not come up
  • Host reports IO errors related to single path and storage target port
  • FCP port does not auto sync with switch port maximum supported speed with transport errors
