ONTAP upgrades on systems with Emulex FC target adapters may result in the adapter becoming unresponsive and resulting a system panic.
  • ONTAP upgrades from 9.15/9.16 to 9.17
  • EMS scsitarget.fcp.dump reporting FC adapter has triggered SRAM dump
  • Affected Emulex FC target HBA ports will become unresponsive until reboot
  • EMS reporting WAFL inconsistency events
  • System PANIC from WAFL mpcleaner
