CONTAP-370588: After SM-as relationship deleted with base snapshot release LUN TPG IDs are reported incorrectly

Issue

  • ONTAP LUN disappears or reports incorrect access state at the host after LUN move and release of the base snapshot for the consistency group
  • LUN was part of a SnapMirror relationship or SnapMirror Active sync (SM-as) consistency group that was deleted
  • Windows MPIO may show:
    • device number  -1 unknown 
    • event id 47 after LUN migration using SnapMirror 
    • error SCSI disk "currently this hardware device not connected to the computer code 45"
  • ESXi hosts no longer update TPG path state and may only see active/optimized paths
