Issue

  • A client appears to have all needed permissions but is still getting permission denied
  • The following style errors is seen from EMS logs
nblade.css.s3.AccessDenied: Access is denied for user 'S3user' (Vserver 1), from client IP XXXXXX accessing resource '/s3bucket_path

  • sktrace logs for S3 show these type errors
S3_AUTH_Dbg:  n0x107da9: [2711123456] action 3 = ListMultipartUploadParts

S3_AUTH_Dbg:  n0x1082ff: [2711123456] No matching statements and hence Implicit Deny

S3_AUTH_Dbg:  n0x6c0454: [2711123456] For user S3user none of the group policies matched

S3_AUTH_Dbg:  n0x6c03c2: [2711123456] Group Policies Evaluation found No match for user S3use
