Unable to access files from a CIFS share in a FabricPool environment

Issue

  • User is unable to access the Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, PDF or any kind of files stored in CIFS shares.
  • The error message is similar to: "Sorry, we couldn't open <\\"
  • Newly created files will open successfully.
  • Customer has configured FabricPool.
  • Running the "storage aggregate object-store profiler start" will fail with error:

cluster1::>storage aggregate object-store profiler start -object-store-name my-store -node my-node
"Command failed: Initializing the object store profiler on node "node_1" for
object store "object_store" failed. Reason: Cannot verify the certificate given
by the object store server..."
