Issue

  • An S3 bucket on a Storage Virtual Machine (SVM) shows increasing used space even though the bucket contains no files, no snapshots, and versioning is not enabled.
  • The bucket is inactive, with no recent changes or maintenance performed in the environment.
  • Logical used size is reported as 51.77GB for the bucket with object count 0
