  • EMS / event logs contain messages of the following form
    • [?]  Mon May 19 19:00:42 -0500 [nacluster1-02: wafl_exempt04: wafl.dir.surrpair.filename:error]: Failed to create a file with surrogate pair characters in the name in the directory /vol/path/to/directory
    • Alternately, the same error may be noted from other sources (OCUM, AIQ, etc ...)
