Issue

  • The command vserver cifs modify fails with error:

Error: Failed to modify the CIFS server "CIFS1". Reason: CIFS Server Modify Job is FAILED.Wait until the job is completed or run (privilege: advanced) "vserver cifs repair-modify -vserver SVM1" if the job failed.

  • The command vserver cifs repair-modify -vserver SVM1 fails as well  
  • MGWD log contains error at that time:

ERR: tables::cifs_server_modify: [JobId 123456, remove_share_ca_property():487]: Failed to update cifs share table for removed CA property, error: The specified path "/vol1/directory1" does not exist in the namespace belonging to Vserver "SVM1"..
