Issue

  • ONTAP LDAP client is configured has at least one LDAP servers configured for a vserver
  • EMS
secd.ldap.noServers: None of the LDAP servers configured for vserver <vserver_name> are currently accessible via the network for LDAP service type (Service: LDAP (NIS & Name Mapping), Operation: NetgroupMembersFromName).
  • secd
secd.conn.auth.failure: Vserver <vserver> could not make a connection over the network to server (ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx, port 389). Error: Operation timed out (Service: LDAP (NIS & Name Mapping), Operation: MapNameWindowsToUnix) for each ldap server configured
  • A packet trace shows an unbind request from ONTAP after the timeout occurs
secd.ldap.noServers: None of the LDAP servers configured for Vserver are accessible
