ifgrp ports flap sporadically up and down on multiple nodes

Issue

  • Member ports of ifgrp keeps flapping up and down on multiple nodes even after replacing the cables.
  • Sporadic LACP link failures seen from both ports on both nodes on ifgrp a0a with the following errors in EMS:
    • Tue Jan 01 00:00:00 -0400 [NetAppNodeName: intr: net.ifgrp.lacp.link.inactive:error]:ifgrp a0a, port e2b has transitioned to an inactive state. The interface group is in a degraded state.
    • Tue Jan 01 00:00:00 -0400 [NetAppNodeName: intr:net.ifgrp.lacp.link.active:notice]: ifgrp a0a, port e2b has transitioned to the active state.
