Why do I see SMB2 connections to ONTAP?

Answer
- Each client is responsible for determine which protocol to use when connecting to ONTAP.
- Typically, this would be an older Windows client, or a Linux/Unix client.
- Please investigate each client.
- The following command will show you the clients connecting with SMB 2.x
::> cifs session show -protocol-version SMB2,SMB2_1 -fields windows-user,address
