Issue

  • When migrating VMs from one ESXi host to another, the migration fails
  • Subsequently, the VM restoration on the original host hangs indefinitely
  • A reboot of the host may be required to resolve the problem
  • vmkernel logs reference NFS41FileOpenFile errors in the due to failed: busy
