Using a DNS alias/CNAME, without the SPN set for that alias

Issue

  • Unable to access CIFS due to DNS alias/CNAME not being reflected on our Computer Object.
    • May notice this when disabling NTLM or when Netlogon services are not  working.
    • You may get an error stating : A Device attached ot the system is not functioning.
