Issue

  • Attempting to create a new CIFS shared folder on volume using Windows MMC fails with network error.
  • Existing shared folders under the same volume are accessible and files can be updated.
  • Reconnecting to the file server in MMC does not resolve the issue.
  • Specifying the volume path directly (not the share name) fails to connect, as per product specification.
  • The security settings for the affected volume show owner information cannot be displayed.
  • Volumes where shares can be created display the owner information.
