  • Customer is able to access CIFS shares using the server name.
  • Unable to access Share by IP address
  • Error seen in windows
a device attached to the system is not functioning

EMS error:
[?]Sun Feb 19 14:10:49 GST [CLUSTER-01_NODE01: secd: secd.dns.srv.lookup.failed:error]: DNS server failed to look up service (_ldap._tcp.Default-First-Site-Name._sites.dc._msdcs.domain.com) for vserver (CIFS_SVM1) with error (Operation timed out).
