Issue

  • Overall slowness is observed in copying of files to the NFS exports using NFSv4.
  • This process involves deleting of the existing files in the folder and copy current config files in to the same folder.
  • The packet traces show that the client is renaming files before deleting them. This behavior is known as “silly rename”.
