SMB Share access after Windows client update

Issue

  • Users reported the following issues when accessing SMB shares:
    • New folders created on shares do not appear immediately
    • A manual refresh or significant delay is required for visibility
    • Renamed folders do not reflect changes immediately
    • Slowness and performance degradation when copying data to these folders
    • The issue was observed after Windows clients were upgraded beyond version 23H2
