SMB FlexCache client uses small write length due to lack of Write Caching

Issue

  • A CIFS client or specific application, such as ASC Grid, experiences long write times to a FlexCache volume.
  • Packet traces indicate inefficient write requests with short lengths

  • Writing to a FlexVol or FlexCache origin volume does not exhibit this delay.
