S3 Snapmirror create fails with error "object store not found"

Issue

  • When trying to configure snapmirror to S3 bucket via system manager, the following error is received:
Operation with Snapmirror bucket relationship failed. Reason: Unable to configure remote Vserver "SVM1" for S3 SnapMirror. Reason: Failed to create object store configuration to reach from Vserver "SVM1" to vserver "SVM2". Reason: Vserver SVM2 is not configured with a data LIF that supports the S3 protocol.
  • S3 snapmirror creation can also fail with below error

Unable to configure remote Vserver "src_svm for S3 SnapMirror. Reason: Object store bucket src_bucket not found
