Issue

  • Newly configured Vscan server does not connect to SVM
  • Avshim logs show that vscan software is not registered with ONTAP AV connector service.
  • As vscan is not registered, ONTAP AV connector is not initiating connection with SVM

  • Vscan software logs show that registration is failing with "Bad Network Path" for \\127.0.0.1\pipe\ntapvscp
