Network traffic sent out of an unexpected interface

Issue
- NFS Clients get RPC timeout when attempting mount
- Packet captures show no SYN ACK replies for TCP session on NFS LIF
- Packet captures show SYN ACK replies egressing out a different or management LIF
- TCP/UDP traffic ingresses via one logical interface (LIF) and egresses out a different LIF
- This asymmetric routing results in different network paths traversed by traffic travelling to/from the client
- This is often seen when the SVM has a LIF in the same network as the client, such as in the below image:
