Issue

  • Previously connected vscan servers no longer connect effectively
  • ONTAP logs Nblade.vscanBadUserPrivAccess for the scanner's machine account
  • From within the Trellix software, it appears that the system is configured to use a service account which is set as a privileged account for the scanner-pool configuration in ONTAP
  • Trellix logs (StorageProtection_Debug.log or EndpointSecurityPlatform_Errors.log) show RPC_S_INVALID_BINDING messages
