Issue

  • When mounting an NFSv4 volume from ONTAP, users experience latency or timeouts during initial mount and subsequent access attempts.
  • The same volume mounts via NFSv3 in less than 1 second, but NFSv4 mounts take between 4 and 32 seconds (varies per client).
