  • NFS mount failure due to "exports.hostname.transient:error"
  • EMS messages includes:
mgwd: exports.hostname.transient:error]: Hostname "hostname.fqdn.com" could not be resolved to an IPv4 address (error 8) when evaluating export-policy rule at index "index #" in policy-id "policy id" on Vserver "vserver".
  • MGWD log includes:
[kern_mgwd:info:2262] | [0.11.864]  ERR  :  getaddrinfo(192.168.80.17\343\200\200) returned error=8: hostname nor servname provided, or not known files_error = 5, nis_error = 0, ldap_error = 0, dns_error = 14  { in hostMatchLookup() at src/mgmtgwd/nfs/mgwd_exports.cc:2106 }
