Issue

  • NFS client has intermittent access failure to NTFS volume
  • Ontap CLI shows operation not permitted
  • For some operations, like copying a file, the first attempt will lead into a 0 KB file
    • In these cases, the second attempt is successful in producing the correct size of the file
  • UNIX security operations, such as chown or chmod are similarly impacted
