Issue

  • Intermittent NFS latency/unresponsiveness e.g. df -h hangs indefinitely
  • Client logs nfs: server not responding

  • P​​​​​​acket trace shows that

    • ONTAP responds to all requests

    • ONTAP repeatedly sends TCP Retransmissions, gets no response, and closes the TCP session with [RST, ACK]
