Issue

  • The issue is with alternate data streams (ADS) not being closed correctly by the client:
    • Client opens filename.xlsx (Share for: read/write/delete)
    • Client opens ADS to the same file (Share: NONE)
    • Client closes filename.xlsx main handle
    • Client forgets to close the ADS handle
    • For this reason, the opening of the filename.xlsx with DELETE access mask is denied as expected
