MacOS OSX finder not seeing SMB files but can see it via OSX CLI and browse folders

Issue

  • When browsing MacOS OSX Finder to view CIFS share files and folders; they do not show the latest output of Files or Folders but using Terminal lists the files and sub-folders not showing in the Finder GUI   
  • Refreshing or revisiting the folder may not show the contents with repeat attempts in Finder
  • Using the terminal or command line to the SMB share; you can run ls and see the folders and files not opening
  • Using the direct path from Terminal you can open the file with the direct path in Finder
