LIF failover causes gateway connectivity issues
Applies to
ONTAP 9
Issue
- When performing a network cable pull (failover) test on Node1:
e0b, the LIF(test_lif:XX.XX.XX.01) fails over to Node2:e0b. - After failover, connectivity from the LIF(
test_lif:XX.XX.XX.01) to the gateway becomes unstable or unreachable. - Other failover scenarios (e.g., Node1:
e0aor Node2:e0bcable pulls) do not exhibit this issue. - When both LIFs are migrated to Node2 (takeover), gateway connectivity is normal.
- The issue only occurs when
test_lif:XX.XX.XX.01is migrated individually.
