Issue

  • Fails to  Join AD domain with invalid credentials when to create a new CIFS server.
Error: Machine account creation procedure failed
 [  7355] Loaded the preliminary configuration.
**[  7759] FAILURE: Could not authenticate as
**         'Demo/user1@DEMO.COM': Unknown user
**         (KRB5KDC_ERR_C_PRINCIPAL_UNKNOWN)

Error: command failed: Failed to create the Active Directory machine account "CIFSSERVER1". Reason: Kerberos Error: Invalid credentials were given.
  • The incorrect format of username is provided as "domain\username".
