The packet traces can be downloaded from the following location:

https://<CLUSTER_MGMT_IP>/spi/<NODE_NAME>/etc/log/packet_traces/

Steps:

  1. Open web browser and type in below address using cluster management lif ip:ONTAP OS
  2. Enter Ontap login credentials and click on logs:

ONTAP OS

  1. Search for packet_traces folder and click on it:ONTAP OS
  2. Now click on the file name you want to download:ONTAP OS
