Answer

  • Q:  If I build a FlexCache origin volume and SMB share pointing to it, then build a FlexCache remote volume and SMB share, the UNC paths would be different because they are on different clusters.  However, if I put the same Microsoft Active Directory groups with read/write access to both shares, would there be any access permission issues if a user, which was part of the MS Active Directory group?
  • A:  No, there will be no access issues.  Permissions to a FlexCache volumes are the same as those on the origin volume.
