High load on Linux client with NFS mount due to improper placement of SFP

Issue

  • Seeing high load on the Linux client (NFS client).
  • Packet trace shows that there is packet loss and latency seen on wire.
  • And we see a ton of retransmissions occurring from ONTAP side, indicating the client is not acknowledging the packets sent from ONTAP and seeing high memory usage on the linux server (client).
