Frame discards seen on a NIC port due to no buffer errors

Issue

  • Frame discards are increasing on a NIC port in ifstat output
  • The rate of total discards is almost equal to the rate of no buffer errors:
  • Customer may experience performance issues due to this network issues, such as high latency and/or low throughput
