Issue

  • As per vserver cifs domain discovered-servers show the Domain Controller (DC) was disconnected and not connecting on one Vserver
  • On vserver cifs create or vserver active-directory create

Error: command failed: Failed to create the Active Directory machine account "server_name". Reason: LDAP Error: Local error occurred.

  • As per vserver cifs security show parameter Use LDAPS for AD LDAP Connections is set to true
::> vserver cifs security show

                    Use LDAPS for AD LDAP Connections:            true
