Issue

  • Linux CIFS users are unable to access files, getting error:  Access Denied
  • EMS contains Nblade.cifsMaxOpenSameFile events for the IP of the impacted client host

  • EMS contains Nblade.cifsMaxSessPerUsrConn
  • Packet trace shows that
    • Client opens folders/files, but does not close them
    • When client sends new requests to open files, ONTAP responds with STATUS_INSUFFICIENT_RESOURCES
