Answer

Yes, it indeed includes nfsv3 and nfsv4 when you specify protocol to nfs in export-policy rules.
 
Example:
ontap95::> export-policy rule create -vserver audit_test -policyname default -protocol
any  nfs  nfs3 nfs4 cifs
