Answer

  • When a CIFS server is created, the machine account's Delegation attribute on Active Directory is set to "Do not trust this computer for delegation" by default.
  • ONTAP CIFS does not require the "Delegation" setting to be set to any other parameter than the default on the machine account's attributes.
